This place was really nice, as a Mexican I can guarantee you this the most authentic Mexican food you'll ever find.

You want Mexican food made by real Mexicans? This is the place. Large portions, great selection at a reasonable price. Sometimes we end up sharing because they give you so much food and it is delicious. We especially like the sopes and quesadillas de flor de calabaza. Andele! Andele!

Friend from work showed me this place . Best tacos I have had in a long time ! Will be back for more off of the menu.

I ordered sopes. They were really really delicious. I ordered two with asada and 1 with pollo. Both are great but the flavor of the pollo was outstanding. This place is right down the road from my house and I had never been here before. They even have aguas frescas. This truck has much more than other taco trucks around. Next time I'll try the elotes and gorditas.

Taqueria Alexander is my new go-to place for a quick taco fix. Well, not so quick actually...because everything here is made fresh to order. So, I give them a call and place the order ahead of time for pick-up. My main obession here is the Tacos Al Pastor, which is marinated pork fried with pinapple. They have a nice table set-up in the front with a covered area. But, it is just too darn hot outside 95% of the year for me to partake in that action. The employees are really nice. If you don't know what to order, just tell them what kind of meat, or non-meat you are interested in and they will whip something up for you.

This is the place for authentic Mexican food at a reasonable price! Beware the Verde (green) sauce - really good but hot! I would recommend this as a must visit site!

The Al Pastor tacos great! I can't wait to go back and try something else. This has to be the cleanest taco truck in the area.

There is a new taco wagon in the Oneco Market's parking lot and it is called Taqueria Alexander. I saw it a few weeks ago, and I even got a message from a Yelp friend asking if I had tried it yet. Tonight I did. There is a lot of hand printed signs in the windows, but there is also two tables under neath a new awning, which was a nice thing to see. I was thinking tacos, but then I saw they had tamales. For some reason tamales are driving a hidden hunger in me this summer. Doesn't look like they have any carnitas but they were all happy to suggest the lengua to two gringos so you they aren't shy. We ordered a couple of green tamales and what we thought were going to be carne asada tacos, but I screwed things up a bit and thought they were asking about the tamales. So we ended up with a lot of chicken tonight. Need to try the pastor and maybe their sopas and tortas. Another visit. We got our order to go because even though they have some nice table in the shade it is freaking florida in the summer and I was melting. The car smelled great on the way home. A good sign. When we found out about the order mistake when we opened up our food, but it looked so good and we were so hungry, we really didn't care. The tamales were all I hoped for. These ones were wrapped in corn husks rather than the banana leaves I've been finding around the area. I like both so no worries. The chicken in side was tender and had just the right amount of green salsa inside. The masa was tender and had a great flavor. So big win there. The tacos were great as well. A nice spice to the chicken, shredded and tender. Cilantro and onions were perfect. The tortillas were very interesting. Thicker than most taco wagos, tender and a great flavor. Home made? Not sure but I want to know. Certainly not out of a grocery store. And even better than some of the tortillaria's in the area typically make. A winner, just have to go back and try some of their other ones! I was taking a few photos of the wagon before we left. The owner jumped out and showed off all the different paintings on the side with pride. In my bad Spanish and his broken English we chatted a bit and I wished him success. I know I'll be back. I just hope they don't disappear like the last three taco wagons at this location. Go give them a try!
